New Year's Day Debris

A new year dawns and we went out early for a walk around the local streets. It was really quiet as I imagine that most people were either at the beach or sound asleep after last night's noise!

While La Herradura is being rebuilt others are cashing in on its absence. This place is right next door and looked very inviting with its Christmas lights. As you can see the front of house car park is full!

It's all happening and just a few streets away. Just opposite the park I discovered that a conference on meditation was taking place last weekend.

The demise of La Herradura (Merliot branch)

Several weeks ago a swift fire took hold of our local restaurant and in no time at all it was gutted and seems to have been abandoned.
